COMMUNITY

The site was located at High Street (高街) of Hong Kong which belonged to one of the oldest residential districts in Hong Kong Island. The community centre was to face towards the existing district park, the King George V Memorial Park (佐治五世紀念公園).

A public concourse was introduced to the community centre as an interface between courtyard of the proposed building and the adjoining park. Green concept was adopted with podium garden to link the tall and low blocks. You may retrieve from website of Chinese University of Hong Kong for my thesis report.
